Völlig wasserdicht, mit fortschrittlichen Isolationseigenschaften, Trail-Schutz und robustem Grip bezwingt der Artica X5 die Elemente und ist dennoch ein robuster, leichter Performance Schuh. Das Internal Speed Lacing System des Artica X5 sorgt für ein schnelles und passgenaues Anziehen.
Das Microtex-verstärkte Obermaterial bietet zuverlässigen Schutz, während die nahtlose Verklebung auf der Außenseite für einen niedrigprofiligen Aufprallschutz sorgt und die atmungsaktive Membran für maximale Belüftung. Die wasserfeste Außenschicht lässt sich einfach reinigen, und der wasserdichte Reißverschluss sorgt dafür, dass auch das schlechteste Wetter draußen bleibt.
Die robuste, leichte und steife Carbon-verstärkte Nylon-Außensohle, die für Trailschutz, Halt und Kraftübertragung sorgt, wurde für ganzjährige Wärme kombiniert mit einer komfortablen fizik Winter Edition Cycling Innensohle mit weicher Fleeceschicht an der Oberseite und isolierender Aluminiumschicht an der Unterseite. Gummilaufflächen stellen sicher, dass man auf jedem Untergrund alles unter Kontrolle hat.

I only used the new shoes for one fat bike ride, and I liked the shoes a lot, but hoped that they would be a little warmer. Toes were a bit cold when temps were in the mid twenties.

This is my second pair. I live in Seattle and need and pair of shoes for our never ending Winter. The first set lasted 3 years and the decision to get a second set was a no brainer. The neoprene "inner" is great. It has a cinch system that really holds the foot to the shoe. The outer shoe takes all the abuse and keeps on rockin'!
I would advise to use the fisik foot measure thing to get the correct fit.. Size up if you are on the fence. Oh ya! I ordered two pair one from Fisik and one from Amazon. The Italian pair beat the Amazon pair from Texas.....just sayin' 5 Stars all the way

The Arctica X5 really protect from the wind and seem pretty waterproof. They are roomy for wide feet, which is great. The cold still passes through, though, even at 5-10C. So I have to add layers of socks but that's OK.

I am always skeptical about cold weather gear, especially socks and shoes, since my feet tend to run cold and the gear never seems to live up to expectations. I just tested my new Artica X5 shoes in real feel 33 degree F (0-0.5C) on a 21 mile ride. Wore winter cycling socks. My feet were the warmest they've ever been in those conditions. The lacing system offers a very snug fit. I have to be a little more careful about how to tuck the laces away: right ankle was perfect, left was a little annoying, but now that I know this is easily fixable. I may add a cycling sole for more comfort and insulation, but the Artica 5X were great, as is! They look good on, too!

Not waterproof by any means. Water streams in from the cuff and settles in the bottom of the boot, your feet then slosh around. Once it gets in it never drains out.
sizing is very difficult to determine, my normal size is to small, one size up means the foot are is to big but the cuff over the arch is to tight. Feet sweat due to no ventilation

The innovative pull-cord zipper closure works better than I expected, and stuffing the cord under the zipper is not uncomfortable at all...you can't even tell it's there. The boot is warm--maybe too warm!--and keeps your feet dry from external moisture, but sweaty feet will always be sweaty, so choose your socks wisely!

These boots are excellent. I got tired of booties and toe covers, and these boots are perfect. They look really good, they tighten well (a draw cord between the tongue and zipper), and are comfortable to walk in. They are also nice and warm. My longest ride since getting them was 20 miles in 30F degree weather (-1C), 15-20mph, and my feet with normal socks were very comfortable. I am normally between 8.5 and 9, and the 42 was a very good fit.
