FIZIK Why did you choose Argo saddle for this specific bike?

PHM The Teammachine SLR 01 is BMC's flagship bike, designed to deliver the ultimate ride experience. It's not just about the frameset but about perfecting the entire package. FIZIK Choosing a saddle for a bike when you don’t know the end user isvery difficult. Could you tell us more on your bike/saddle match selection process?

PHM Choosing a saddle without knowing the rider is indeed a challenge. For the Teammachine SLR 01, we focused on key ergonomic features: the shape of the sitting surface, the short length, the cutout design, and the generous padding. These elements cater to the needs of most riders. While no saddle can satisfy everyone, the Argo provides a versatile solution that works exceptionally well for the majority.

FIZIK What’s your favorite bike ever?

PHM All of them! While I obviously love BMC bikes, every bike has its own unique magic—whether it’s a road bike, gravel bike, MTB, or urban commuter. My favorite bike is always the one I’m riding at the moment... which might just be waiting for me once I finish writing this!

FIZIK Any cool project you’re working on that you can share some details on?

PHM We’re working on a range of exciting projects, from high-performance competition bikes to cutting-edge gravel exploring platforms. While I can’t reveal much just yet, I can promise that this summer will bring some thrilling new developments for the BMC brand!
