FIZIK When do you usually recommend the Argo shape?

PB I recommend the Vento Argo saddle to riders who require good sit-bone support whilst having a saddle which gets out of the way quickly enough in transition to allow free hip movement. The Argo does this well due to its transition and flare from the back to the nose of the saddle. The nose being rounded down also allows easy transfer to a more forward pelvis position when going hard.

FIZIK How often do you recommend cyclists to reconfirm or update their position/fit on the bike?

PB This is different for different people. It depends on the type of riding, extent of hours riding, and number of bikes. In general, though, I recommend when you change bikes or every five years, at least. Remember, we change and become different with time, and your position should also reflect that.

FIZIK Which saddle are you using on your bike(s)?

PB I have ridden an Arione for the last 15 years, but Im changing it to the One-to-One Aliante after doing the testing. I couldn’t believe the difference—and I was already very happy with the Arione.

FIZIK Did you work or are you working with any athlete you’re proud of?

PB I worked with Olympic gold medalists and TDF winners in the past. Currently, my proud athlete to work with is Alex Yee—the Olympic Triathlon Gold medalist from Paris 2024. He is a great person and trusts me when it comes to bike position.
