Wet-weather GORE-TEX protection
In its GORE-TEX configuration, riders can now extend their thirst of adventure thanks to the triple-layered waterproof, breathable membrane: adding protection from the elements while keeping feet dry. Ready for the rough stuff, the hardwearing ripstop woven fabric uppers resist abrasion and tearing while a PU-laminated toecap and side reinforcements add further protection and durability. For increased comfort, the Ergolace pattern cradles the foot, securing the fit with an ergonomic lace-up closure.
Slim fit, confident feel
We designed the silhouette specifically to reduce bulk and avoid the puffy look of many mountain biking shoes, meaning Ergolace is ready to blend in with civilization when the backcountry missions are complete.
X2: Clip in, take off
The X2 outsole enhances the versatility of our all-mountain shoe. Engineered to deliver an optimal balance between efficient pedaling performance and flexibility for comfort and control on and off the bike, the X2 outsole keeps riders covered for all those hike-a-bike moments. The compressed EVA midsole provides stability and cushioning while the Vibram rubber tread ensures grip and traction, whatever the conditions underfoot. The directional lug pattern is designed for confident footing; with the right spacing and depth to bite into softer soil, it’s made from a unique compound that’s ideal for gripping slick rocks while hiking. X2 has an extended cleat track with more set-back and greater flexibility for choosing cleat placement.

Die Lieferung der Radsportschuhe erfolgte innerhalb von 2 Tagen. Die Größenangaben in der Tabelle stimmen präzise überein und beim ersten Anprobieren saßen beide Schuhe fest an den Füßen. Nach einer ersten Probefahrt mit angebrachten Cleats auf meinem Indoor-Smartbike, bekam ich nach 45 Minuten Taubheitsgefühle im linken Fuß. Daraufhin musste ich den Cleat am linken Schuh in der Position nachjustieren. Der Schuh sitzt nach der gestrigen, zweiten Indoor-Probefahrt von 20 Minuten immer noch nicht optimal. Da die Produkte weder benutzt, getragen oder beschädigt werden und auch keine sichtbaren Spuren von montierten Cleats aufweisen dürfen, ist eine Rückgabe so gut wie ausgeschlossen. Ich hoffe die Schuhe bei weiteren Trainingsfahrten besser einfahren zu können, denn sie sind hochwertig verarbeitet.

I bought these shoes because I do a lot of urban riding that involves popping in and out of local shops. I was tired of walking around in traditional mountain bike shoes with their hard and slippery soles. Riding in wet conditions and then walking indoors on polished floors always felt treacherous, particularly in winter.
The Terra Ergolace GTX seem to have solved my need. They are stiff enough to feel like a real bike shoe and the soles leave me feeling confident when I am walking indoors.
I don't love the way the tongue material wrinkles and then pushes down on my foot. That's super uncomfortable. But I will try adjusting the lacing or maybe shifting the tongue overlap.

Schöner Schuh, der sich gut und nach Bedarf schnüren lässt. Wer kein Freund von Boa ist, der ist hier richtig. Leider rutsche ich beim gehen hinten an der Ferse raus, da hätte ich mir solche Silikonnoppen wie bei den Fizik Rennradschuhen gefreut.
Meine normale Größe ist 44/45. hier passt mir die 45 gut.

I purchased the TERRA ERGOLACE GTX, Because I wanted a gravel shoe with flat outsole, so I can walk or bike hike comfortable.
On the picture they looked wide - foot shape - (I have very wide feet), but when they arrived and I put them on, they was pressing a lot around the metatarsal area on the foot. But the length was good.
Otherwise, the build quality is superb and they look very good, but unfortunately I had to return them.
I'm giving 4 stars, only because there is no choice for for wide feet
