Proxy is an off-road shoe with pure racing DNA that recalls our top-tier products. When performance is required on demanding XC tracks or in fast gravel races, this shoe is the solution. Proxy is well ventilated thanks to an innovative translucent PU laminated mesh that makes the shoe both lightweight and comfortable. FINE-TUNED FIT
The closure pattern is minimal and supportive, using BOA® textile lace guides that balance tension and further eliminate pressure hot spots. Featuring a single incremental Li2 BOA® Fit System platform, cyclists can fine tune their fit, ensuring maximum performance without compromising on comfort.
POWER TRANSFER IN COMFORT
The newly redesigned X3 carbon reinforced nylon outsole offers more stiffness for efficient power transfer. The generous rubber tread delivers better grip on the pedals and improved traction for dismounted segments during CX races.

The shoes fit very well. I did the measuring as instructed but ordered a half size bigger (normally wearing Size 45, instruction suggested 43.5, but I ordered a pair of 44s in addition). The 44 fit best for me.

Really enjoy cycling in this shoe—based on the sizing recommended, I would say these run a bit small, and wish I could have ordered a half size larger, but they’re out of stock. That being said, I still really enjoy the snug fit!

Great shoe in general and looks amaying, although it feels a bit heavier (mostly because I'm used to road shoes), and even though they're pretty narrow, which is great for me, there is still a lot of volume, so I will need to get a riser for under my insole. Also wish they would just make this shoe with two boa dials, as should be the standard, to have a much much much more comfortable closing system. Cheers!

I have Terra Atlas shoes and fit perfect, this model I bought because of color, white! But mod have different form shape and have pain after one hour in outer bone of the foot.

The shoes look great, and this is the main reason I got them. However, I was disappointed with the fit, quality, and weight. I have a number of Fizik shoes (like the vento stabilita in two colors, and the terra ergolace; all in the same size) and saddles (like the vento Argo X1 and 00) and they have been nothing but the best quality and fit. These vento proxy shoes though seem like they come from a different company. They have a cheap feeling build quality, are MUCH heavier than any other cycling shoe I own (mountain bike, gravel, or road) and the fit is terrible for a number of reasons: 1. The upper is very thin, which is good for breathability (hope it doesn’t compromise durability), but it means that folds due to excess material in the instep are greatly exaggerated and it ruins the look for me. Again, other Fizik shoes in the same size don’t have this problem. 2. There is heel slippage, even though the shoe is secured tightly with the single boa dial and the length is appropriate. I feel like it’s due to having a single boa dial. This makes it feel like the performance is compromised. And 3. The tongue is the cheapest feeling part about the whole shoe. It has a decent amount of padding for protection against lace bite, but with the single boa you have to re adjust it constantly as you tighten the shoe to get it to sit right. This applies to the boa cable too, which makes it harder to make adjustments mid-ride… a key feature for the boa system.
Overall, I’m sad to say this is the first Fizik product that I have been disappointed in. Hopefully they fix it in future iterations and it isn’t a trend for future products. Please don’t compromise on quality and performance simply for looks!
